TBR Challenge

The rules developed by MizB

* the challenge is to read 12 TBR books in 12 months -- you can read those all in one month if you want, or one a month, or however you wanna do it.
* you need to have a list posted somewhere for others to see (even if it's in a comment here)
* you CANNOT change your list after January 1st, 2009!!!
* you can create an Alternates list of MAXIMUM 12 books, if you want, in order to have options to choose from (you can read these in place of books on your original list).
* audiobooks and e-books ARE allowed
* re-reads are NOT allowed, as they aren't TRUE "TBRs"
* you CAN overlap with other challenges

If this is something that you would like to participate in you can sign up at 2009 TBR Sign up.

I was considering doing this challenge but then I'm doing so many challenges that thought it was better not to enter. Some of the books I'm planning to read for those challenges are from my TBR pile so, either way, I will tackle it down! :D

Yes, all these books I intended to read this year anyway, but it gives me an excuse to really read them. I'm also doing the 75 book challenge at LibraryThing again this year too.

I'm doing the 50 book challenge at LJ. 75 is too much for me right now, I read very slowly and not always have the mood to read. This year I've reached my goal 30 books, so I thought I could try to reach the 50 mark.
