I'm ready!
Last year I read 100 books, and this year I wasn't sure if I'd make it, but I'm doing pretty well right now and just finished my 86th book of the year, the 2nd in the Gardella Vampire Chronicles - love, love, love them! I'll review them all at once when I've finished all five of the books in the series - which will be soon since I'm devouring them in record time!
So, I'm taking the plunge and joining J. Kaye's 2010 100+ Reading Book Challenge.
It's pretty straightforward, read 100 or more books for the year 2010. If you want to join up, go over to J. Kaye's blog here and sign up. I wish I had done this for 2009, so I am thrilled to be able to join up for 2010!
Challenge Rules:
1. The goal is to read 100 or more books. Anyone can join. You don't need a blog to participate.
2. Audio, Re-reads, eBooks, YA, Young Reader, Nonfiction – as long as the book has an ISBN or equivalent or can be purchased as such, the book counts.
3. No need to list your books in advance. You may select books as you go. Even if you list them now, you can change the list if needed.
4. Crossovers from other reading challenges count.
5. Challenge begins January 1st thru December, 2010. Books started before the 1st do not count.
Happy reading everyone!

Looking forward to your Guardella review - I really enjoyed this series.
Must head over to JKaye's and check out the challenge!
Patti - I love these Gardella books - I've got to read them without stopping to see how it all ends, although if all the books end as heartbreakingly as the first two, I don't know how I'll be able to stand it!
Welcome to the 100+ Reading Challenge! 2010 is going to be a fun year!
J. Kaye - thanks, yes I'm really looking forward to it! I have so many books lined up for this upcoming year - I'm very excited!
Hi Julie awesome challenge hmmm I wonder if I could make it though lol. I'll have to think that one over but good luck in the challenge hon! And I can't wait to hear about the Gardella series I haven't tried those yet.
JennJ - thanks, I'm still busy reading - I love this series! I should probably be taking notes, but I'll just have to rely on my memory! I hope to get it all posted by mid next week - but who knows, busy times ahead!
Eighty-six?! My goodness, that's a lot of reading! I just started my 44th, so I failed miserably on the 2009 challenge. You can do it though!
Amy, most of the books I read are pretty short - roughly 350 pages, with a few chunksters, I know plenty of your books are probably really long, so don't say you're a failure!
